Guten Tag Aachen!

Right now, I'm sitting in the train on my way home. But did this weekend actually happen? It felt so unreal and it went by so fast. I met up with friends I made in Hangzhou during my first semester. On Saturday I was meeting up a friend and together we would drive to Aachen to meet the other two. It was really amazing.

Exploring Bali

I just came back from my trip to Bali with my friends and it was great! Bali is a dream destination of many people, including me. I mean, the island is full of white beaches, big waves to surf on, ancient culture, endless rice terraces, lush greenery, cool markets, friendly locals and good food and who doesn't love that? Here are some snaps of my to paradise!

Eating All The Food ft. Kim 🍕🍵 | Danique's Diary (Ep.1)

Today I went to Rotterdam with my cousin to look at some studies at the university. It was quite interesting, we asked a lot of questions. And I came to the conclusion that economic studies are not my cup of tea. But my cousin was like, I want to do this, let's ask some questions, yes I want this, I've seen everything, we can leave now. So we figured we could spend some time in the city, because Rotterdam is fun!

I love Seoul!

I finally did it: I went to Korea! And it was even better than I expected!! I ate delicious food, saw my friends, visited many places in Seoul and I even saw some K-pop groups! This was my first trip by myself and it was super scary, but so amazing!

The wide side

Hello everyone and happy new year! I'm so excited for what this new year is going to bring, because last year had definitely it's ups and downs. But the ups were so amazing that they sort of made it up for the downs, haha. The ups for me were obviously my trips to all kinds of (new) places, the many new friends I gained and the biggest highlight of the year: studying in China. But enough about all of that, let's look at my super comfy travel outfit.

A day in Leshan

Hi everyone! In my last blogpost I told you about my trip to Chengdu, but on the second day of the trip we went to Leshan. Leshan is known for their stone Buddha. It's the biggest stone Buddha of the world and my friends wanted to visit the Buddha. I had already seen it but from a different perspective. This time I was sooo close! It was really cool.
